ABOUT US Innovate Bhutan is the Bhutan Youth Development Fund’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We drive impact by nurturing responsible Bhutanese innovators and entrepreneurs - inno-preneurs - and showcasing what they can achieve. We support inno-preneurs in transforming bold ideas into viable ventures through capacity building, incubation, and commercialization support. Through human capital development, business incubation, events, and access to investment opportunities, we connect them with investors, industry experts, businesses, and partner organizations - helping ideas grow into sustainable impact.MISSION: To empower and build the ecosystem of social entrepreneurialism and innovation in Bhutan through education, incubation, and capacity development of Innopreneurs. INNOVATION SPRINT (I-SPRINT) The five-day social entrepreneurship and innovation workshop offers hands-on, interactive sessions covering social entrepreneurship, design thinking, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Gross National Happiness, and practical financial and marketing skills. 2. INNOVATION START(I-START) The four-week social entrepreneurship workshop is designed to equip participants with three core skill sets - business, human, and technology - to support the launch and growth of impact-driven ventures and business ideas. 3. INNOVATION CONSULT(I-CONSULT) Innovate Bhutan’s Mentorship Portal is a secure online platform that connects entrepreneurs and startups with a trusted pool of experts. Built on respect, confidentiality, and professionalism, it enables meaningful mentor–mentee connections to support learning, problem-solving, and business growth. 4. INNOVATION CREATE(I-CREATE ) Our state-of-the-art coworking space offers affordable private cabins and shared workspaces, with free utilities and services including high-speed internet (Starlink), printing, training and meeting facilities, and a cafeteria. Designed for focused work and collaboration, it also serves as an ideal venue for events, meetups, and networking. 5. INNOVATION VENTURE (I-VENTURE) Our iVENTURE program is designed to facilitate seed-and-scaling investments. We connect inno-preneurs to investment or capital for blended (socio-economic) returns of investment. We fund (startup seed fund) in business ideas that are socially (or environmentally) innovative and viable.  <h5 class="">6. KidsMBA Bhutan Program  </h5> KidsMBA Bhutan is a 10-day early entrepreneurship training program for students in Classes 6 to 8, implemented by Innovate Bhutan in collaboration with KidsMBA Ltd (UK) and ABE Global (UK). The program equips young learners with essential life and business skills through 16 interactive modules covering financial literacy, leadership, teamwork, and a culminating Shark Tank–style pitch grounded in Gross National Happiness (GNH) values.
